The flip video camera is fun to use, small enough to fit into my pocket. Did have difficulty when I combined clips into a movie, downloaded it on hard drive in order to detete it from the camera. It crashed iphoto, had to take computer into Apple store to restore iphoto by creating new library. I am a little reluctant to retry, but have to investigate why this happened.

Compre este producto hace aproximadamente 2 meses y lo he utilizado para viajes principalmente. Si el objetivo principal es tomar videos de relativa calidad para subir a sitios de redes sociales, este es el producto perfecto. Si lo que desea es tomar videos de alta calidad para transferirlos a dvds, mi opinion es buscar otra alternativa.
Pros:
1) facilidad de usar: extremadamente facil utilizar este producto.
2) calidad de video: a pesar de su tamano, el video es bastante aceptable.
3) tamano: este flip es diminuto, lo q'lo hace muy portatil
4) transferencia a pc/web: flip tiene un app que permite transmitir los videos directamente a la PC o a la web.
Cons:
1) estabilidad: no soy un cirugano, asi k mi pulso afecta la estabilidad a la hora de tomar videos.
2) tamano: aunque lo indique como Pro, para algunas personas puede que sea inconveniente , especialmente si tiene dedos grandes :).

This item was a pleasant surprise, so easy to use with amazing picture quality. The included software allows easy sharing of video clip via the internet & eamil, facebook etc. Great battery life, for me the 60 minute model give me more than enough time for any event.

I bought this camera because I compete in dog agility and wanted something quick to video in better quality than my regular digital camera "video" feature. This is really small, battery life is great and I bought mine at CafePres so I was able to upload a great picture of my dog on it. That said, when I did get the HD, my computer that wasn't that "old" was unable to handle the HD software - jerky picture, not acceptable playback. So I did what every american with no money does and I bought a better computer, handed down my old one and tried again. I have to say, the software that installs itself is really kick butt. And I love the frame by frame option.
But my hugest pet peeve is the herky jerky with it. And I know, I know, I expected this. At first I had friends filming me and it wasn't really bad at all. Until I had somebody else who I hadn't told to really try and hold it still, it was DISMAL. OK I knew that would happen....The zoom is rediculous. You can zoom at first but forget about zooming while taping, the picture will bounce all over the place.
So, I'm thinking of seeing if I can find a less jerky one and handing down this one to my 16 year old son to use in his dorm.
If you really want this, make sure you know what you are in for. Battery life is great, software is great, you need a good computer with horse power. And expect jumpy videos. The small size is awesome, the screen is really small. Hopefully the next generations will get it right.
I gave it 5 stars because it performs exactly as promised.
