I bought this as a spare battery when I purchased my Nikon camera. I was satisfied at the time, and ended up buying yet another one.
Fast forward ~18 months... and maybe 5-6 charges each battery...
I pulled out my camera after an extended period of unuse, and the battery was dead... well, I have spares... I swapped it out, and tried to charge this one... no luck, the Nikon charger won't even blink. Dead battery.
Tonight (<30 days later) I pull out the camera again. Guess what? Same thing... I put the Nikon battery in, and we're good to go... try to charge this one, and the charger won't even blink. Dead battery (and yes, the charger works fine with the Nikon battery... it's these batteries, not the charger.)
Two down, and no, I won't be buying these batteries again.

At first this battery was great, it even lasted longer than the factory battery. But I've had it for about a year now, and don't use it anymore because it never holds a charge. I won't be buying this brand again.

I picked up two of these batteries in January. One of the two completely died a few days ago while I was recording a video - it shorted out or something. Now the charger doesn't even recognize that there's a battery in it. I've charged it maybe 4 or 5 times at the most since I bought it. I'm not very impressed. But it was really cheap so it's not probably not worth the effort to attempt to exchange it. I'm torn between buying another one because it's really cheap, or spending the $40 on a Nikon branded battery which would be much more reliable.

I haven't used too much, since I purchased as a backup for when I need another battery. I charged it up, fit perfectly and worked.
The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is that I have yet to give it some wear and tear.
